Happy Retirement Life Congratulations to one of us, alumnus/Deaconess Kehinde Abiola Adegboyega, as she bows out of  Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM); after thirty five years of meritorious service to her motherland as a Pedagogist. Going down the memory lanes dated back to three and half decades ago, by the nature of her profession, she’s of a sound academic background of high pedigree.

Deaconess Kehinde Adegboyega started her elementary school at the Methodist Primary School, Oke Ado Ibadan. She proceeded for her post primary school at her Alma Mata, CHS and, proudly among the 1981 Class-Set. Furthermore, she gained admission into the Methodist Teachers College, Shagamu where she  obtained her Grade II Teachers Certificate. Thereafter, she enrolled at the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo and obtained her National Certificate of Education (NCE) in 1989. She finally bagged her  first degree, B.Ed. and second degree M.Ed. respectively at the Premier University, University of Ibadan between the year 1997 and 2000.

Deaconess Adegboyega started her “Ajimefun” career in 1989 at Adelagun Memorial Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan as a Class/English Language Subject Teacher. She continued in her career progression with her posting  to Urban Day Grammar School, New Adeoyo Hospital, Ring road, Ibadan in Ibadan South West LGA. She got her third intra-state transfer to Bashorun Ogunmola High School, off Akala road in Ibadan South West LGA, where she became the Principal of the Junior Secondary School level. Deaconess Adegboyega reached the peak of her career at ABE Technical School, off Akala road, near Liberty Academy School as the Vice Principal, and finally posted to her Alma Mata, Crhrist High School, Oleyo in Oluyole LGA. in May 2023, where her statutory year of service was completed in September 5, 2024.

 During her active service as a teacher and Mentor, she has touched so many lives for her hard work, dedication and inspiration brought to the classrooms. Her tireless work ethic, unwavering dedication, juvenile smiles, motherly care and friendly greetings that gave many of students the courage to continue their education journey, the knowledge you have imparted, the values you have instilled and inspiration you have provided will echo through generations, creating a legacy of wisdom and compassion. 

As you bid farewell to the familiar rhythm of school bells, lesson plans, Man O War marching order, Band Sets, etc. may this new chapter in your life be filled with joy, exploration, and fulfilment of your long-held dreams.

 Nonetheless, your tenure as one of us at CHSAA, witnessed so many achievements such as completion of the perimeter fence, installation into all the classrooms of tiled-walls chalk-less writing boards championed by the1984 Class-Set, donation of Sports equipment/HP Printer (30.5)/digital copier(Rico MP 2000) by your Class-Set,1981, renovation of block of classroom destroyed by storms, kick-starting the use of  STEP machines, tools and equipment, eradication of students street roaming through Man O War engagement, successful hosting of Biennial Interhouse sports competition, successful conduction of the maiden edition of EOM Literary and debating society and many more sports medals won by the school contingents in sports events/competitions within and outside the state. All these achievements make your influence reached far and wide, thus positively touching the lives of students, parents and fellow educators. As you bid farewell to the familiar rhythm of school bells, lesson plans, Man O War marching order, Band Sets, etc. may this new chapter in your life be filled with joy, exploration, and fulfilment of your long-held dreams. Happy Retirement Lifetime.
